Dreamcase Terms of Use

Last updated: October 24, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Dreamcase app and its backup service. The app is published by Antoine Conan, sole trader (trading name "Stackwise"), 210 rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, 75010 Paris, France ("we", "us"). See the legal notice. Contact: contact@rocketcode.app.

By using Dreamcase, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Unofficial app

Dreamcase is an independent app, made by and for collectors. It is not published, endorsed or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company or by any manufacturer or publisher of items in the catalogue. Disney and the names of works, characters and products are trademarks of their owners. We cite them only to identify items.

3. The service

Dreamcase lets you:

The app works without an account. Backup and sync are free.

4. Your account

The account is optional. You create it with "Sign in with Apple". You are responsible for access to your Apple Account and your devices.

You can create an account on your own from age 15; under 15, with the agreement of a parent or legal guardian.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, Account, "Delete Account"). Deletion is immediate and final. The privacy policy explains what remains in backups and for how long.

5. Your content

Your collection, photos, notes and profile remain yours. You only grant us the right to store, copy and send them to your devices, for the sole purpose of running the service (backup, sync, restore). This right ends when you delete your account, subject to the backup period.

Your content is not visible to other users, except what you propose to the catalogue (section 5a). If you share an image or an export from the app, you do so with your device's tools, under your responsibility.

You agree not to record unlawful content, and not to use the service to store anything other than your collection.

5a. Your proposals to the catalogue

From an item of the catalogue, you can report an error or suggest more information, with your Dreamcase account. Every proposal is reviewed before it enters the catalogue; we may refuse it without giving a reason. It appears in the catalogue under the name "Collector" followed by a few characters of your identifier, never under your name.

If you attach a photo, you declare that you took it yourself and hold its rights, and that it shows no recognisable person. By ticking the consent box, you grant Dreamcase a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for the full term of the rights, with the right to sublicense, to reproduce, adapt (crop, resize, cut out) and show this photo in the catalogue and in any Dreamcase medium, including for commercial purposes. You keep your rights to the photo and may use it elsewhere.

A refused photo is erased. An accepted photo stays in the catalogue after you delete your account (the licence continues), and its credit becomes "Deleted collector". A photo waiting for review is erased with your account. You can ask for the removal of a photo you proposed at the takedown request address.

6. The catalogue

The catalogue gathers information to identify items: names, numbers, series, dates, images. We build it with care, but it may contain errors or gaps. It is provided for information only.

The prices you enter are your own. Dreamcase gives no value estimate and no advice to buy or sell.

Catalogue images are used to identify items. We claim no rights over them: their rights remain with their owners, credited under the image. The "Credits and sources" page in the app names our sources.

7. Request to remove an image or information

If you hold rights over an image or information in the catalogue, write to contact@rocketcode.app with:

We review each credible request quickly. During the review, the image is removed from the app. We answer within 7 days.

8. What you must not do

9. Our intellectual property

The app, its code, interface, logo, backgrounds and the organisation of the catalogue belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules.

10. Paid features

Dreamcase is free. The Dreamcase+ subscription, monthly or yearly, adds features: more than 100 items, up to 10 photos per item, all case backdrops, unlimited followed series, personal series, automatic display cases, detailed statistics and PDF documents. The price is shown in the app before purchase. The yearly subscription may start with a free trial, shown before purchase.

The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple account settings. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds go through Apple, under the App Store terms.

Without a subscription, or when it ends, nothing you entered is blocked: everything stays visible, editable and exportable; only additions beyond the free limits are. Backing up your collection stays free.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We do our best to keep the service running, without guaranteeing that it is always available or free of errors. We may change the app, add or remove features. If we stop the backup service, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days in advance, so you can export your collection.

We recommend that you export your collection from time to time.

12. Liability

We are liable for direct damage caused by a breach of these terms, within the limits set by law. We are not liable for an error in the catalogue, for how you use the information in the app, or for a failure of your device, your network or a third-party service.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

13. Apple

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Dreamcase and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these terms, after notice in the app where possible.

15. Changes

We may change these terms. If the change is significant, we will say so in the app before it applies. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, write to us first at contact@rocketcode.app: we look for an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached, the dispute goes before the competent courts under the rules that apply to consumers. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country.
